Abstract art is an expression of emotions constructed through atmosphere. I push the boundaries of medium through opacity, and application methods. My work is inspired by my experiences thoughout my creative journey. Through research, my practice has moved into collections of work, cultivated by artists like Katharina Gross, and Jessica Warboys. Their art opens conversations around abstract in the 21st century, I have come to explore my role within this movement. Conflicting emotions like depression and joy fill my canvas and plague my life. Routed in childhood tyrants such as the Scottish education system and the nomadic life of an RAF child, these early experiences formed my artistic mind.
