Benjamin Rostance
Benjamin Rostance is a working-class artist born and raised in Nottingham. His art practice and context engage with themes of working classness, mental health, abuse, trauma, and coping mechanisms. There are often parallels with his own work and the work of contemporary artists such as Richard Billingham, Jeremy Deller and Rebecca Horn. Rostance began his education as a mature student, in order both to change careers, and to pursue a passion. Rostance is currently working towards a BA in Fine Art at the Nottingham Trent University, after achieving a distinction on the Extended Diploma in Art and Design course based at Lincoln College in Newark on Trent.
