I am a creative thinking womenswear designer combining my passion for art and fashion to create outstanding pieces with innovative design details and material processes. My aspiration is to make people feel beautiful and confident, which is why I especially enjoy making designs with flattering pattern cutting in mind. I draw inspiration from different topic areas, but often take influence from art and artists that inspire me. My final major project for example, combines themes from my dreams with the surrealist art movement. I find it incredibly interesting to research in depth the history of different art and implementing my findings to fashion design. During this last year, I have designed a successfully launched collection project in collaboration with a luxury fashion boutique in Finland while studying here fulltime, evidencing my determination in this field. I am eager to keep educating myself in different areas of fashion design and being involved in different projects.
