I am a final year student at Nottingham Trent University studying Fashion Knitwear and Knitted Textiles Design. Throughout the last three years I have enjoyed learning about knit and the processes involved in designing and making final outcomes. Before University, I spent two years studying Fashion Design which provided inspiration to carry on. I have been inspired to carry on further within this field. I have enjoyed this final project as I was able to choose my own pathway. I have a passion for menswear designs which enabled me to relate this concept back to my personal hobbies. My concept: Pit Stop is inspired by my interest of mine, Formula One. Ranging from the cars as a whole, engine parts, and environment. I have enjoyed using these elements to structure my final collection.
