Revathy Baburaj is a fashion design graduate from India currently pursuing her Masters in Fashion and Creative Pattern Cutting at Nottingham Trent University. As a designer, she has an eclectic style deriving inspiration from various sources yet rooted in her Indian heritage. Her love for textiles, textures, art and craft influenced by her cultural identity has all helped give shape to her design sensibilities. Her area of focus is integrating draping and flat pattern drafting by exploring the Indian sari drape through her personal project creating more organic designs. Revathy draws inspiration from Indian traditional garment silhouettes and drapery heralding her own culture and heritage.
