Molly’s FMP titled ‘conceal, reveal’ explores the fun in femininity. The project aims to inspire and excite women to dress freely and playfully, building on the post-pandemic mood of having fun and re-connecting with positive experiences, supported by the prioritisation of wellbeing, and valuing oneself. The collection should spark a celebration of body positivity but recognise the inherent and perpetual struggle. Rather than restricting this, making the process something enjoyable that should equally be celebrated. Investigating the visualisation and representation of the female body, attempting to erode the expectations for why women choose, or not, to wear revealing clothes.
