My name is Lucy Creighton, and I am studying Fashion Design. My love for fashion developed from a young age when I would spend hours upon end trying on various outfits of my mothers. Growing up with Epping Forest on my doorstep, I have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by nature for much of my life, meaning it has a great significance on my design journey. The curiosity that I have for nature and the environment is a recurring theme throughout my projects, inspiring me to name my most recent, Bloomed. Bloomed has been both a personal and academic highlight for myself, allowing my creativity to run wild and explore the beauty and decay of nature. My project’s surrounding nature has made me acutely of the widespread issues facing the environment, igniting my ambition to create a sustainable fashion brand, tackling these ever-growing problems.
