Hello everyone. My name is Minoru Yamamoto. My project at MA is “Urban survival garment" to raise awareness of disaster prevention against natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, and typhoons that have occurred frequently in the world in recent years. I developed a multi-functional garment for surviving in shelters or outdoors after a disaster. It can also carry necessary equipment such as food, torch, first aid kit, portable power banks, etc. as needed. It can also be transformed into a convenient backpack. Through this project, I would like to convey the importance of self-disaster prevention. As a fashion designer, I would like to work on expanding the possibilities and value of this new fashion.
