Structural Fluidity is a high-end Unisex daywear collection inspired by architecture and geometric shapes to encapsulate a fusion of masculinity and femininity. My collection uses a combination of digital and traditional techniques which gives my work a tactile quality and combines processes within one design to echo the complexity and surfaces of the architecture; fabric manipulation, digital embroidery, hand embroidery, beading, digital and screen print and laser cutting. My colour palette for this project uses black and greys to achieve a monochrome industrial aesthetic, whilst incorporating pops of colours to give the collection a contemporary look. Throughout my final year, I have discovered a newfound interest in modern, contemporary aesthetic honing in on a more abstract way of working which I am eager to seek out opportunities with companies focusing on this area.
