Ivy is a theatre maker now based in Nottingham. She originally has a background in construction from 3 years working on building sites as a carpenter. Here Ivy developed skills in making and this led to her pursuing theatre carpentry and prop/set making. Ivy came to Nottingham to study Theatre Design at NTU and fell in love with Nottingham and its theatre scene. During the course she found a calling to stage management and being a theatre technician. During her second summer in Nottingham, Ivy worked on a variety of shows and developed her theatre craft and stage management skills. Ever since that summer she has taken every opportunity available to work on more and more shows, developing theatre skills and meeting some amazing people. She is always on the look out for new shows and people to work with in Nottingham.
