I am a Masters student who was self taught for 2 years before doing the Creative Pattern Cutting course. I wanted to explore my pattern cutting and also push myself with learning new things such as Clo 3D and Lectra. My clothing concept is based around mixing two different aesthetics together, I am Nigerian and wanted to bring my African prints into my designs but also use the 70s silhouette to compliment the clothing I create. During my research there was a very wide gap for 70s clothing also inspired by African aesthetics, culture and prints. My goal is to create a clothing brand that does that perfectly.
