Hello, I'm Emily, a visual communicator and feminist who is passionate about illustration and branding. I enjoy illustrating and communicating a narrative within my work, this passion originated from my childhood, when I would spend hours writing and illustrating my own books. Having the opportunity to write and design a book using industry grade facilities has been a dream. It also gave me time to develop my personal illustrative style, making this my favourite project of my final year at university. Another project that is significant to me was the breast measuring tape which was a satirical take on body positivity. This brief helped me confront my insecurities and I liked how I could use art as a form of therapy. I would like to see my future work have the same positive impact on other people and encourage change.
