A focused and creative visionary who is hardworking and eager to learn new skills. I'm currently undertaking a Masters degree in Creative Pattern Cutting Womenswear at Nottingham Trent University, which has led to extensive learning and knowledge attained within 3D and 2D pattern cutting. I have a good understanding of historical and contemporary pattern cutting to include the use of digital software such as LECTRA and CLO 3D. I have also been published in vogue.com USA and selected for UK HARPER’S BAZAAR x FASHSHION CROSSOVER LONDON Print Editorial Magazine– September 2020 Award. For future plans after my Masters, I plan to start my own clothing brand based around my final MA project. The concept of my main project was derived from the lives, clothing and love story of my grandparents who were a part of the Windrush Generation and is marketed towards working class women looking for sustainable and ethical smart wear clothing.
