Hi, I’m Berfin, an enthusiastic and ambitious textile designer, specialising in embroidery for interiors. ‘The Line Between Architecture & Happiness’: a collection that demonstrates a variety of multimedia processes including laser cutting, origami and embroidery, for an interior application for offices and communal areas. Through embroidery, I can push three-dimensional design, creating tactile, playful work suitable for room dividers and installation wall pieces. My passion for photography and architecture has helped me discover my love for colour and creating designs to bring joy, which has been beneficial throughout the year. My creativity and endeavours on this textile design course has allowed me to bring my visions to life. I was privileged to combine my main interests into my projects during my time at Nottingham Trent University! After graduation, I wish to continue pursuing a creative career, whether in embroidery or another discipline.
