My name is Abbie Juniper and I have just completed a degree in Design for Film and Television. Out of all the areas of the course, my personal favourite has to be tech drawing and I would say that this is the aspect that I have dedicated the most time to. My personal favourite project that I completed was an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’ where I designed the Great Hall set at the finale of the play. I also designed the exterior of the castle and based a lot of the design for both sets around human anatomy and the brain due to the themes of madness within the plot of Hamlet. Going forward I would like to enter the creative industry where I will be able to put my design skills to good use whether this be in the art department of a film or another creative sector.
