‘The Chisholm Sisters’ collection is designed for 6 to 8 year-old girls, from her inspiration she has formed a textile based the collection to explore sensory learning, crafting techniques and used the scale difference between adult clothing on a child’s frame. My visual design comes from the childhood land of imagination and play, where anything is possible. It is full of mood boosting, uplifting colours, rainbows, sparkles, joy and happiness. I believe it still lives within us in our nostalgic memories of childhood as we grow up, being a shared experience, we can all relate to.
