“Pollutions In Hong Kong: The more serious pollution problems in Hong Kong, The more precious nature is” is my FMP concept. I had found the air, light and rubbish pollutions are the most serious problem in Hong Kong. The air and rubbish pollution inspires me to decide the weight of fabrics and different media to do the stand work like rubbish bags. The light pollution inspires me the bold and bright colours which can be contrast with massive colours and some for patch working. For the nature photography, apart from inspiring me to use the colours for natural dyeing, it also inspires me to choose the texture of fabrics. At the same time, I had realised more Chinese designers are coming out the international stage which creates a new trend—“East meets West”. They had taken the features of Chinese traditional costume and combined with Western contemporary elements to create their garments. Therefore, I started researching both of them and trying to combine them.
