Environmental pollution is one of the big issues living in fashion industry, being a fashion student and next generations designer means taking a responsibility considering sustainability to help the fashion industry and nature survive equally. Throughout this collection, I have realised that the goal for our future is like lichens and fungi, these exist in a mutually beneficial relationship. My collection has developed to be a very organic, dark but colourful mood. The texture is a bit furry but enhanced with tussles to create the fantasy looking of lichens and fungi, they wrap around human bodies to form a protection. Distorting the shapes of our human body, and to control our movements, at the same time, they prevent our actions to destroy the future of our nature.
