Hi, I’m Yin Lam. I love to do different kinds of illustrations, from hand-drawn to digital. I also apply my illustration skills to different designs like branding and book illustrations. At the same time, I also got a passion for doing UX/UI design. One of the UX/UI project example is my self-initiated project that aims to improve the user experience of MyNTU app, which is the university app for students. The project that I enjoy the most would be the pop-up book that I made to celebrate traditional Chinese craftsmanship, which is a craft that relates to where I was born and raised--Hong Kong. It was challenging but I really enjoy playing and discovering those pop-up paper mechanisms and draw illustrations for books. For achievement, the illustrations that I did for the “Moon Mouse” children's storybook got shortlisted for the 2021 Carmelite Picture Book Prize.
