The last three years at NTU have been fantastic in allowing me to experiment and develop my skills in all areas of production design. I have had experience in technical drawing (Vectorworks and hand drawing), prop design and making, concept art, storyboarding and modelmaking. Subsequently, being introduced and taught about the many different areas of an art department has allowed me to identify my strengths to develop them further, whilst also having the knowledge and confidence to carry out other areas of design preparing me for the industry. During my work experience, I was able to take part in a working art department which I loved as I was able to meet a great group of people to work as a team, whilst learning new skills too. I am passionate about design as I think it is an important tool especially in television and film as it’s what brings the picture to life and I look forward to developing my knowledge and skills to a new and exciting future role in an art department.
