Martin Lithgow
Boundaries are there to be broken and I think that there should be no distinction between graphic design and fine art. I like to take a sideways look at the world and produce work that is unique and thoughtful. My projects are sometimes humorous but always playful, even when tackling difficult subjects. I like to work in three dimensions and use unconventional materials and techniques, blending the digital and the analogue and elevating the mundane. Although I like to experiment, I still have a passion for pen and ink work and am a competent illustrator who likes to create fantastical images injected with humour and the absurd. Looking into the future, I would love to work with people who are environmentally and socially conscious, think outside of the box, and do things a little differently.
