Growing up I have always been captivated by the imaginative worlds created within Television and Film. Studying Design for Film and Television has encouraged me to explore outside of the box in terms of creative thinking so I can produce the best work I can. During the course I’ve been able to explore the huge range of roles within an Art Department and I feel fully prepared to enter the industry with confidence and determination. Within the course I have enjoyed the chance to create my own concept art environments on Photoshop, from a derelict town set in post-soviet Russia to a fictional street in the heart of Tokyo. Additionally, I’ve obtained valuable industry skills such as prop making, model making and draughting which all require immense attention to detail and precision. My work experience includes BBC’s Silent Witness, Hollyoaks and the Rumour Mill- a short stop motion project.
