Emily Ratcliff
My name is Emily Ratcliff. I am currently in my final year of study at Nottingham Trent University; aspiring to graduate with a degree in Textiles Design. Throughout my life my goals have always been driven by an immense passion for imagery and pattern. I have always been fascinated by the power of imagery and its ability to capture an audience; pushing me to develop my creative abilities and, ultimately, peruse a career in this area. My fervour for the arts has resulted in an enthusiasm for printed textiles in the interior sector, especially the crafting of wallpaper. It was my placement at Romo Fabrics that confirmed my enthusiasm for this sector of the textiles industry. I have developed a distinctive style, which is centralised around a wide variety of creative experimentation and detailed sketching. I thrive off crafting in-depth concepts that are enveloped in symbolism, resulting in innovative outcomes.
