Sacred ice is melting. Global warming is causing the Earth’s temperature to rise and we are all guilty. Reflecting on the values of the pilgrim, an epiphany came to me when walking a small section of the St James’ Way Pilgrimage. I felt a spiritual connection to the planet I was walking on. I chose to upcycle fabric remnants, complementing ecclesiastical offcuts with deadstock jeans, knitted offcuts and end of roll/deadstock organic fabrics and trims, to create my collection.
