Hi, I’m Alicia, I studied Fashion Knitwear Design and Knitted Textiles at NTU. During my studies, I learnt that my passions lie within the textural qualities within nature and how this can be reflected into dramatic and opulent knitwear design. I gained a year in industry for my placement, producing a range of soft accessories for the high street. This ranged from women’s handbag design to home soft home furnishings. It was an amazing achievement to have my final collection outfits chosen to walk the Graduate Fashion Catwalk. I was also fortunate enough to be one of 37 students across 10 member universities who were chosen as Graduate Fashion Week's Class of 2021. This featured my outfit in a photo and video shoot for London Fashion Week. My future ambitions are to work as a designer in the fashion industry, within a company who work on innovative and sustainable collections.
