Nafisa is a designer and artist with a background specialising in textile print. Through the use of exploring mark making, dying techniques and working with raw ingredients - Nafisa aims to express a narrative which will be open to the interpretation of the viewer. She wants to show the importance of handmade techniques which can be used alongside digital processes to create products that people can value. Nafisa’s work incorporates influences of her Indian heritage as well as her inspiration gained from having lived in different parts of England. Her work explores the combination and celebration of balancing femininity alongside a raw, organic aesthetic.
